The host country for the third Float Summit is Sweden, which has the most floatation centers of any country in the world and is home to the most recent research on Floating-REST (Reduced Environmental Stimulation Therapy). In Sweden, advocates of floatation are leading a promising effort to integrate floatation into Sweden's health care system. If successful, Sweden will be the first country to approve floatation as a reimbursable therapy – a highly remarkable achievement.

Day 1 - Science and Health Research

The first day is dedicated to understanding the research which has been the foundation of success for float centers in Sweden. The Swedish Floatation Association (Svenska Floating Förbundet) will introduce our panel of world-reknowned researchers from Karlstad and Kalmar universities. These scientists have demonstrated that in many cases Floating-REST, commonly known as “floating”, provides significant and measurable benefits to people who use the floatation tank. 

Day 2 - Business Practices and Marketing

An international panel of expert speakers will offer their guidance on how to run a successful float center. Come prepared with your questions since audience participation is an important part of the discussion. We'll cover a wide range of topics, from useful marketing techniques to proper float tank maintenance.
